yep. livejournal again.
a bunch of people have called me and i have not answered my phone nor returned any call in like a week. it's nothing personal, i just have been sick and antisocial.
soon it will change. but i think i have to quit my job first. i really hate it. but we'll see.
i actually just think it's too easy to just sit at home and do nothing all day. nothing really seems that important to me but i know that's not true. meh.
well, i'm going to stop by the place i'm supposed to be living seeing as i pay rent there... yeah. |

so i've been having this creepy reoccuring dream about this really old man randomly calling me while i'm driving and being like, "this is the police. i'm sorry about what happened."
and then i say, "what are you talking about?"
and he's like, "it hasn't happened yet but i'm sorry it happened."
and then i get really frustrated and i have trouble driving cause it's dark and i hang up on him.
it's so creepy!
anyway i remember the number and it was 651-3512. look familiar to anyone? cause i don't know if that was just a random memory in my mind or what.

So yesterday was my first day back to Bread Co. and 5 minutes after I get there and start washing all the dishes the lazy day guy left for me, the power goes out!
and it stays out until... i have no idea. so now i'm stuck with cold water and no dishwasher which means only one thing: i have to handwash all the dishes. from lunch. and flipping.
it turned out okay though cause we were out of there by like 7:00. and we all got an extra half-hour's pay cause we worked so hard! woo! it was totally insane.
on a lighter note, i got a tattoo of which i will be showing pictures as soon as someone can upload them onto their computer. it's a pretty great tattoo. actually i'm in love with it and i think it's one of the most beautiful tattoos... ever.
now i'm exaggerating but i decided i don't have to be humble about my tattoos because i wasn't the artist. i can rant and rave all day cause it won't be cocky of me to do so. so there. |

ok i know i'm a total spaz but what had happened with the tattoo thing was that kyle got a speeding ticket and couldn't afford his and we just lost track of time so i didn't get mine.
but! the tattoo i'm getting now is to beautiful. i think i'll just make it a surprise. so... call me after thursday or saturday and i'll show you.
by the way. my folks are going out of town on wednesday so i'm having a party. which happens to be a
80s porn star party!
so maybe you should prepare for that this week.

so i just got back from suzy's funeral... which i really do just think the woman who lead the service was just trying to get us all to believe in god. it was bullshit and everyone kept laughing because it was so ridiculous. but... i did say goodbye to her and it was so weird to see and stare at and talk to a friend who can't reply to you, and who you know someone else did her hair and makeup and took out her lip ring and... i'm really gonna miss her. |

so, suzy lakes died. i keep crying about it and thinking about it and almost puking about it. i keep hearing more and more fucked up things about it.
it seems pretty unreal still, but also it's the most real thing that's happened in a really long time.

so today at work, i had like the cutest discussion with diane (who looks like... oh, megan, what was that movie star she looks like?) about how the night closer is really cute.
and then everything went to SHIT.
example:
-I leave for 45 minutes, and when i come back i find that someone has made nestling diet (which is really expensive) COMPLETELY WRONG.
-no one soaked anything the night before, meaning it took me like an extra hour to make food because i had to wait for everything to soak.
-everything is a mess, all the food they made is shitty anyway
-all the birds are dehydrated and there were a TON dead in the incubator.
plus the heron was crabby and she kept snapping at me.
basically, i leave for my day off and people take it upon themselves to do my job. only really fucked up.
i cried when i got home because i stayed an extra 2 hours to get everything back in order.
ugh. |

so crazy story, right.
i call up my friend evan to get my friend phil's number (we're going to see herbie hancock tomorrow night!) and the first thing he said was "do you want to talk to corey?"
and i was a little confused, cause... i called evan. wanting to talk to evan.
so i asked evan what phil's number was, and i was like, "yeah, i lost my cell phone"
and he said, "yeah, corey knows where it is"
so i end up calling this random woman named margie who found my cell phone in her mailbox. turns out i dropped it when we were watching trains on graduation night at greenbriar and someone found it and put it in her mailbox.
so then she called the last person who had called me and asked how to get a hold of me. strange.
anyway... I HAVE MY PHONE BACK WOOO! |

a little less than 12 hours till my french test! wow! i'm, like, so excited for it!
i hung out with hilary a lot today and it was really awesome. i mean, really. awesome.
and we saw pete stein at south city diner (cause he works there) and he was being all hot. and stoned.
other news... i guess... i dyed my hair "vampire red" on the label but "pink with some purple in it" in real life.
i also saw adam schnitz this weekend and his new girlfriend called me "THE becca" and shit. it was crazy. and we talked but... things were so crazy this weekend i hated it. but also it was kinda fun.
i got to hang out with barry and drummer for a bit. i'm in love.
aand... i am really... needing... to sleep...cause that ap test is tomorrow...

so i just went urban exploring with my friend connor. it was fun and i took some nice pictures and everything, but then...
well, i stayed home from school today and my dad called me in and everything, so i took a nap and like 2:30 i found my phone and it said connor called.
long story short we went exploring and my dad called on the way out there and said we had to pick up the car.
i wasn't supposed to leave the house today.
and now, since we got back late, i have no car.
gosh. i guess i could call connor and ask for a ride out there. tomorrow, after school.
